Golden Visa
Known as the Golden Residence Permit Programme, Portugal’s residence by investment program has been operating since October 2012. It is the ideal solution for non-European citizens seeking the freedom to live and work in Portugal and to travel across the Schengen Area. The Programme is open to investors and their families, who may all obtain residency of Portugal. Residency may be obtained even while maintaining an alternative residence elsewhere. The Golden Residence Permit can be renewed every two years, provided the residency requirements have been fulfilled.
Option 1
REAL ESTATE
Acquisition of real estate property of an amount equal to or above 500,000 EUR.
Option 2
REAL ESTATE
Acquisition and execution of works of real estates, on the amount equal to or above 350,000 EUR.
The construction of the real estate must have been concluded for 30 years, at least, or the real estate has to be located in an urban rehabilitation area (though with less than 30 years).
Option 3
CAPITAL TRANSFERS
Capital transfer of the amount of 350,000 EUR, for the acquisition of units of investment funds or venture capital funds.
Additional investment options
Capital transfer with a value equal to or above 1 million Euros.
The creation of at least 10 jobs.
Capital transfer of the amount equal to or above 350,000 EUR, for the constitution of a commercial company.
